This page is the method behind every recommendation on the site.
Prices. Product prices come from a structured GetYourGuide feed, are shown as “from” prices, and carry the date they were checked. We never present a stale price as current; when a price is re-checked, the date updates with it.
Facts. Opening hours, dress code, stair counts and the rest are cross-checked against the official site (duomomilano.it) and independent published sources, cited inline where the claim is made. A fact we couldn’t verify is either cut or explicitly flagged as unverified in the text — never presented as certain.
Visitor experience. We don’t pretend to first-person experiences we haven’t had. Where the site describes what a visit is like, it’s distilled from hundreds of public visitor reviews and discussion threads, presented as attributed consensus with real counts — “76 of 120 recent reviews mention the rooftop” means we counted.
Recommendations. We compare products on what they include and what they cost. Commission never decides a recommendation: we routinely point readers to cheaper options, to the official box office, and to our page on when the Duomo is not worth it.
Red text, honestly used. Ratings, review counts, cancellation terms and closure notices appear in red on this site only when they are true data from the feed or the official source — never as invented urgency. No countdown timers, ever.
